Frequently asked questions
Short, direct answers to the questions most people ask before booking.
What is relationship coaching?
Relationship coaching is a structured process focused on practical skills: communication, attachment patterns, recurring conflict, and healthy boundaries. It is not psychotherapy and it does not replace medical or psychiatric care.
What is the difference between coaching and psychotherapy?
Coaching focuses on present goals, relational skills, and observable changes in communication and behaviour. Psychotherapy may go deeper into clinical symptoms and history. If your situation needs therapy or psychiatry, I will say so directly and help you find appropriate resources.
How does coaching help with communication and recurring arguments?
Many couples repeat the same arguments without understanding the relational pattern. In sessions we slow the cycle down: what triggers it, how each person contributes, what happens emotionally underneath — then we practise clearer responses between meetings.
What do you mean by attachment patterns in coaching?
We look at how you respond to closeness, criticism, or distance — patterns that often show up across relationships, not only in a couple. The goal is not labelling you; it is understanding so you can choose differently, step by step.
Do you work online or in person?
Primarily online. In-person sessions in Bucharest are sometimes possible depending on availability. We agree the format at the start based on your needs.
How long is a session and how often do we meet?
It depends on the format (individual, couple, intensive, workshop). Sessions are often weekly or biweekly, with duration agreed in advance. Intensives are concentrated over one or two days — see the intensive page.
How are fees set?
Fees depend on the type of service and scheduling. We discuss this transparently before any commitment — usually in the introductory call.
What is the free 15-minute discovery call?
A short call to get acquainted, clarify what you are looking for, and see whether this kind of work fits. It is not a coaching session, but it helps you decide your next step calmly.
When is coaching not appropriate?
I do not replace medical or psychiatric emergencies. In acute crisis or if there is risk of harm, contact emergency services or a clinical specialist. Coaching requires active engagement between sessions.
Is what we discuss confidential?
Yes, within legal and professional limits. The privacy policy explains how data from the site and forms is processed.
Which languages can we work in?
Romanian, English, and German. Tell me your preference when you get in touch.
How do I start?
Book the discovery call from the contact page or send a message. I will reply with clear next steps and availability.
